Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct is loosely adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 1.4, available at https://www.contributor-covenant.org/version/1/4/code-of-conduct.html

We intend to foster an open and welcoming community. You, as a Gertie member, agree to make our online and offline community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, sexual identity and orientation, and neurological differences. You pledge to treat all members with respect and civility.

Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:

The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances

Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks

Public or private harassment

Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission

Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting admin@gertie.co.

By participating in the community, you acknowledge that Gertie Enterprises, LLC may make enforcement decisions to protect its users, staff, and business interests, and that such decisions may be made without prior notice where Gertie reasonably determines immediate action is necessary.

Gertie Enterprises, LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to investigate alleged violations of this Code of Conduct and to take any action it deems appropriate, including removing content, restricting access to services or community spaces, suspending or terminating memberships or accounts, and reporting conduct to law enforcement where appropriate.
