Join the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) for a third and final discussion on “how to build an anti-racist art ecosystem.” This stellar panel series has brought together art leaders and artists to exchange perspectives on what an anti-racist art world would look like. For this conversation, SAIC will convene a panel of thought leaders from across the international art world who will raise questions and propose actions to further anti-racist practices in art production, exhibition, administration, and education.

Hear from panelists Zoe Butt (curator, writer and founder of In-tangible Institute), Victoria Noorthoorn (director of the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires), Smooth Nzewi, (curator in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art) and Vipash Purichanont (curator and lecturer at Silpakorn University in Thailand). After the talk, head to the Chicago Athletic Association on Michigan Avenue to visit the super-scenic Cindy’s Rooftop bar and restaurant (12 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60603). Peek into the hotel lobby on your way up.
