Head to Dorothy’s, one of Chicago’s best femme-focused, queer bars, for a movie night! The Reservoir Collective and DayLong Film Fest are collaborating once again with back-to-back screenings of Queenie (dir. Chi Thomas) and The Funnel (dir. Charlene Carruthers). Both films share the themes of housing security and affirming Black Queer love throughout history. Proceeds go to DayLong Film Fest, an exhibition of Black, Queer, Chicago-grown storytelling that debuts fall 2023.

Thursday, June 22nd doors at 6pm and screenings begin at 7pm and will last under an hour. Dorothy remains open until 10pm. Tickets are a sliding scale $10, $15 & $20.

Dorothy is 21+ and requires all guests to show physical ID upon entry. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Avenue. If you're a guest who requires elevator access, either reach out before the show, stop by Split-Rail on your way in for assistance or speak to our security person when you arriv
