Head over to Belmont Gardens for an opening at ArtRuss, an industrial warehouse space-turned art gallery. This is the opening night for Dabin Ahn's solo exhibition “1stDibs.” Ahn is a visual artist whose work ranges from traditional paintings on canvas to site-specific installations. His recent departure from only working on two-dimensional work allowed him to experiment with various mediums and think sculpturally. Trompe L’oeil — a trick of the eye — best describes his practice, and he continues to incorporate this idea into his new body of work.

On any given night, Podlasie Club (only a 5-minute drive away at 2918 N Central Park Ave, Chicago, IL 60618), delivers a power-packed lineup of DJ’s.
